Nothing makes Molly happier than creating, be it through working on studio art, acting on stage, or writing her novel.
She started taking art lessons at a young age, and has been learning with a variety of mediums ever since. As part of her B.A. from the University of Vermont, she journeyed to Florence, Italy where she learned fresco, illustration, and etching techniques. Digital art is her newest conquest, having acquired her first drawing tablet. She is proficient with paints, colored pencils, Copic markers, Photoshop, and more.
One of Molly's breakthroughs came in 2013, when she was commissioned to illustrate the "Dorks in Dungeons Campaign Guide," a book written by a fantasy improv troupe. She completed nearly 40 pieces for the book, some of which can be seen in this site's gallery. She has since designed logos and promotional material for Dorks in Dungeons, and digitally converted her original colored pencil drawings for the Campaign Guide.
Molly sells her art in Artist Alleys at various conventions around New England and Canada. She has sold at Granite State Comic Con, Rhode Island Comic Con, HalCon, and more, and looks forward to exhibiting at new cons in the future.
Molly is also an accomplished actress and improv performer. After learning about "Dorks in Dungeons," she successfully auditioned for the group. She then developed the role of Phyona Darkblack, the sociopathic rogue. Favorite acting roles have included the title roles in Sarah Ruhl's "Eurydice" and Sophocles' "Antigone," and Honey in "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?"
But Molly's greatest love is for writing. Equipped with her Creative Writing MSc from the University of Edinburgh, she has been hard at work on her first novel: a Gothic mystery set on the New England seacoast. She plans on serially releasing chapters through a Patreon account, so be on the lookout for it!
Molly currently resides in Wellington, NZ on a working holiday visa. She looks forward to traveling, meeting new people, and, as always, making art. She only wishes her two bunnies (Wendell and Asha Greyjoy) could come too.
